Accessories, Battery Life, Ring tones

Michael: The Treo 300 works with most Treo 180 and 270 accessories. The battery life on the Treo 300 was acceptable. I was able to use Vision for an hour, and talk for another hour before the battery started to die. I found myself only having to charge once a day overnight, which is fine with me.

It has been rumored in the Wall Street Journal that Sprint/Handspring have developed an external battery sled for the Treo 300 that will double the battery life. This would also work with other Treos. Handspring declined to comment on this. Last of all, the Treo 300 has polyphonic ring tones. Basically, ring tones are now played by the radio module through the speaker on the flip, and not on the internal speaker and circuitry. I personally liked the added sweetness to the notes, though the ring tones included sound pretty much the same.

Dieter: When you buy from Sprint or Handspring directly, you can get a free car charger.
