Handcase launches HandWidgets in English

Finally Handcase has launched the English version of Handwidgets.

The concept is: Save Memory - Run all by the card, example: a software or game with 250 kb with HandWidgets gets 1kb (only the icon of the software or game on your Palm); Save Money - Divided by 70 widgets plus the HandWidgets is less than 1 dollar a software or game.

Handwidgets functions as a program launch pad, adding your chosen programs and programs you can access by signing up with HandCase. Shown below are 6 of these packages and what they contain.

By signing up, you will receive the following: Games, Monthly News, Free Updates. HandCase plans to offer 70 widgets a year.

Note: A memory/storage card is required for Handwidgets to function.

Widgets are typically small, 30 KB the 390 KB, and only 1k of your Palms memory is utilized.

TreoSpot v2.4

TreoSpot, by TreoTown, is a Location Based Reminder and Phone Profile Settings utility for Palm Centro GSM smartphones. Once you set-up the TreoSpot database, you can enable alerts and phone profiles when you are in a specific area. This is useful in case you need to remember something (e.g., buy groceries, etc.) when you are in a particular place.

Phone Technician 4.10, by Hobbyist Software, is now an official release.

Phone Technician is a powerful phone tool for the Treo smartphones! Sound Booster, Funky Ringer - Ringtones from Mp3, Wav, etc. Save Battery -Turn off the screen during calls. Radio control - set radio on & off times.

This is the first official release with the new Magic Tones capability.
