Moving beyond breaking the laws of statistics is the Treo worth the money? PDA wise the Treo 600 compares well with the Sony TG-50. The Treo has more memory and cheaper expansion, the TG-50 has a better screen and a slightly faster processor. Phone wise the Treo 600 compares well with the Sony-Ericsson T610. If you can get a contract for the Treo 600 that costs you less than these two devices then you are looking at good value. In the UK the Treo 600 can be found on the internet for as little as 99 with a 25 per month contract, which makes it the cheapest Palm OS 5 device presently available.
The Treo 600 is mature technology. Lessons have
been learnt from previous Treo's and from other devices on the market.
Handspring have worked hard and delivered the goods; let's hope that as part of
PalmOne they continue that trend.
