Eventually,
you will want to use the Exclamation Stylus for its intended purpose, which
it does pretty well. The area near the tip of the stylus is ridged
to prevent the stylus from slipping in your hand. I was pleasantly
surprised to find that it dramatically increased handwriting recognition,
even over the normal stylus that I
use. The improvement is most likely from the sharper point
of the tip (not too sharp!) and the thicker diameter of the stylus.
I couldn't see the tip of the stylus very well because of the diameter
of the stylus, but because you're using Graffiti instead of traditional
handwriting, this isn't a problem. I've taken to using it as my primary
stylus when I'm at my desk.
It will take some getting used to if you are accustomed to looking at
the tip when writing, so this stylus may not be for everyone. This
stylus is obviously thicker than the stock stylus that comes with the Visor,
and some users may not like that.
As I said earlier, the top can be removed. I suppose you could
put some paperclips or additional weight inside if you feel that the stylus
is too light.
As a side note, if you look at the packaging that comes with the Exclamation
Stylus, you can see pictures of the US Robotics Pilot, the PDA that started
it all!
