Great with a few bugs
Have had my 650 for almost a year. First smartphone and love it. Does freeze on me every so often, but not a major problem. Going to Japan soon, so will likely upgrade to the 750 with Cingular for UTMS service in Japan.

Can't live without it
After two and a half years with my 650, I have to say that the only reason I would want a different phone is to improve my Sprint coverage in my office building. All the functions fit my needs. I use Agendus Pro which makes it an even better package. I also like that I can do just about everything with one hand. Furthermore, the battery life is great. I am a heavy corporate e-mail user, and once I installed the latest Sprint update, the phone became as stable as a rock. Not to mention physically. I've dropped it a dozen times and it keeps performing as new. Who needs WI-FI with being always wireless. It works great with Exchange Active Sync. I'm tempted to move up to the 700P for the instant push capability. But for now I'm pretty content. It is a tool for me to be more productive. It isn't a trophy to show off. Get this if you want a real workhorse.

unreliable
After a year of owning this, I've had it and am scrapping it for a Blackberry. It's freezes, drops calls and has to be rebooted way too often for no apparent reason - like just switching from one function to another, or just answering a call. I'm very very disappointed. Buyers beware

Never Go Back To A Regular Cell Phone Again!!!
I had a Razr and got rid of it to try a PDA. Went with this and I love it. I still have over a year left on my contract and I want another Treo already. I would definately recommend not downloading the free trial software. They don't seem to work write. Great for texting and the internet as well as putting important events and dates into it.

It's a love hate thing
On the Rogers (Canada) network, the phone is fantastic. No problems roaming in the US. However, it re-sets, crashes freezes, bugs the heck out of me. There's also an issue with the time zones where the thing sets the current time to a time zone somwhere in Russia (which really messes up my calendar). Palm blames Rogers and Rogers blames Palm. I think Rogers is right because my wife's Blackberry doen't have those problems. I'm going to ditch the thing ang get and 8700r.

Great Phone
I love the Treo 650. The features are great, keeps me organized. Bluetooth is essential. If you need a PDA and a phone in one, this is the best option to me.

Thumbs Down

Unstable and unreliable
I need a PDA that is reliable and easy to use. It should help me be more productive, not less. I lose too many calls and too much time unfreezing the Treo 650.
