Instead of requiring the phone to process Web pages, it uses a remote server to pre-process the page before sending it to the phone. This makes Opera Mini perfect for phones with very low resources, or low bandwidth connections.
Opera Mini offers the same speed and usability as the renowned Opera mobile browser, and uses Opera's Small Screen Rendering technology to provide access to the Web. It has all the features expected of a browser, and more, such as bookmarks, browsing history, and ability to split large pages into smaller sections for faster browsing.

Loving it! |
Opera Mini 4 beta 2 is just out and I'm really enjoying it. I had frequent freezes at the beginning, but solved them by cranking up the memory settings on the Java control panel (PalmOS Preferences IBM Java VM). Opera Mini now 'blazes' on my Treo 650.
My main griefs are not being able to copy/paste data (not even a URL) or save pages/images. But otherwise it works so well that I'm using it as my primary browser, switching to Blazer only if I need to download something.

Did not work |
I was able to load, but unable to fully use.
Maybe later version will work better with the Treo

Opera Mini is far better than the Blazer browser |
But the current version is not made for the Treo. Looking forward to full support in the future! :)
