    Closest there is to perfect...
I'm not a huge fan of skin cases, as a rule. They stretch, collect dust, and just annoy me. My first Speck product was a toughskin for my ipod. In my opinion, there is no better case for the ipod than the toughskin. So, when I got my 650, I got the toughskin for that, too. While it's not perfect (I wish they'd bring back the short-lived optional keyboard protector), it's earned its keep many times in the last 3 months. It's thick, and very sturdy. Unlike thinner skins, it doesn't stretch. I gives the right amount of "grippiness", but not so much it's a dust magnet. I love the removable hard screen protector, which I further reinforced by putting a cheap film screen protector on that, so when it scratches, I can take it off, slap a new one on, and be good as new. You can't remove the sd card w/o taking the toughskin off, which for me is a good thing. (I use Card Export so I never have to take the card out.) The first couple of times you put the skin on, or take it off, you will swear a lot. It's a very tight fit, and you have to be a bit more careful, but one it's in, it's great. This also means that battery changing is out (unless you take it off, of course) as is soft/hard reset. I plan to experiment at some point with drilling a hole in the battery cover AND the toughskin. (Yes, I'm aware of the Seidio cover w/ the reset hole). It offers superior protection from drops/scratches. When I've dropped it on cement, it just bounces, unscathed. I have the clear one, and it seems to be yellowing slightly with time. I don't know if that's the case, or just general grunge. IR does work with the clear, but I'm not sure it does w/ the black. Bottom line, it's the closest I've found to a perfect case.

    definately bounces
I have used this case for 3 months and found it very effective in preventing drop damage and scratches. I usually carry with the screen inwards, which provides protection for the keyboard.

    HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!!!
As mentioned in the review, it is a pain to get to the SD card. (And the battery too.) But if you want great protection for your Treo, this is the case to get. Highly recommended!

rubber wears out way to fast on Speck skins
I have had two Speck skins so far. Both showed wear way too fast for the cost of the product. This made it hard to feel the buttons. the skins also stretched within a short time because of the design of the holster. the buttons were then not lined up with the skin and when they wore off I kept pressing the wrong buttons or direction on the 5-way.
