Seidio Crystal Case

Read Review (Rating 5/5) <<
Only 1.2mm thick, this case offers protection against scratches yet does not add a substantial amount of weight to your Treo.
This case has cut-outs for the audio jack, data port, SD slot, keyboard, touch screen, and reset hole (with the purchase of one of Seidio's battery covers with matching reset holes).
This case has the most innovative locking mechanism and provides a maximum amount of protection and security to your device. Once the crystal case is on your Treo, it will not come apart easily and will remain safe and secure.
This case is completely transparent, allowing you to showcase your Treo without any added colors or tints. The smooth surface material of this case allows for easy insertion and removal from your pocket or purse. The material that this case is made up of is quite durable, flexible, and very hard to break or crack!

nice... for a very brief time!! |
I really like the case, but now must hate it too. I have had 2 over the past 6 months, both of which have broken at the connecting edge, rendering the case unusable. Yes, it is protective; yes, it is nice to hold... but I am not about to throw away another $20 on this.

Very difficult to remove |
Everything you say is true. BUT it is extremely difficult (nearly impossible, despite their diagram) to remove (e.g., you want to change a battery). Also, it doesn't seem to work with the newer Seidio cradle for the 700p (the one with the long audio terminal, too).

I own one for my 700p; it's great! |
I have dropped my Treo off my holster with the Seidio Crystal Case attached while riding my bicycle on an asphalt street. It was my problem; not secured properly. What was amazing is the case totally protected it without a scratch. My wife accidentally bumped into me and knocked it off onto a sidewalk. Once again, not a scratch. Still works like a charm. Except for being a bit of a pain to remove to do an occasional soft reset, it's excellent and highly recommended.
