hotsync crashed my HD |
Couldn't sync with Yahoo and attempting to sync with Outlook (2003)sent my drive into an unstoppable boot cycle. Battery life poor. Took the phone back after 3 dismal days

Battery life suck |
The 680 may have more memory than the 650 but the battery life of my now 680 is killing me even with the upgraded software I down loaded. I need my 650 back.

Features good, battery annoying |
Slashing battery capacity by 33% to save an extra few millimeters of thickness on the 680 will definitely go down as a textbook case study in engineering blunders. The rest of the features are fine though, and I had no problems with quality or locking up (so far). I'm a little wary they removed the hard reset button though. That was really critical on previous models.

service is terrible |
I just got the 680 and had to switch to Cingular to get the price special. They have terrible customer service I was on the phone for 1 hour getting rerouted so that someone could answer a simple question about a camera problem. 2 days with this and I am already pulling out my hair.

Great Smartphone |
This thing rocks. Battery seems so far. I use text, email and talk all day long and recharge at the end of the day just like every other phone I've had. So far it has been a joy to use

Worthless pos device |
transferred 3 numbers to treo 680's have been through 3 phones apiece for a total of 6 phones in the total of three weeks. currently have 200 treo 650's that work well. stay far far away from the treo 680 with cingular as possible.
