The Speck Products See-Thru Hard Case for the Treo 680 does what cases are supposed to do: protect the Treo you entrust to their clutches from harm. I quibble with its screen protection insert, which the company touts as touch-through, but it does offer another measure of protection beyond a simple stick-on.
The case comes with a plastic clip that holds the case to your belt, and you can choose not to use the included touch-through pane, as I did. The product leaves the important controls and features of the Treo 680 accessible, except for the SD card slot. You have to remove the case to get to that. All thats nice as can be, but the best part is that it doesnt totally obscure the color of your 680. Did I mention mines crimson?
For $24.95, it doesnt seem like youre getting much, and youre not. The fit is tight, and the design is simple, however, and for a basic Treo case $24.95 isnt too bad.
