Well well, what do you know? Maybe the Treo 755p has arrived for all you Verizon customers. I hope so! According to Engadget:
We've gotten word that the oft-delayed Palm OS Garnet device has finally passed through Verizon's rigorous testing regimen, so we'll hopefully see it on shelves before too long...
And over in our TreoCentral 755p forum, there's a thread in which members are saying that the 755p should be available on Monday, December 17th. Forum member French says:
HoFo posters are saying the 755P will be available online December 17th, retail January 8th (or 7th).
French also says that a poster included SKUs for the phone and accessories, and get a load of the prices below:
- Retail price- $569.99
- 2 yr. contract- $449.99
- 1 yr. contract- $519.99
So, will the 755p be available on Monday? Are those high prices for real? I didn't see any mention of a rebate. Stay tuned...
