Looks like WMExperts has gotten hold of the release date of the upcoming Sprint Treo 800w. According to Malatesta, Sprint plans to realease the Treo 800w on Tuesday, July 22nd! WooHoo, I can't wait!
Malatesta also gives some new details on the specs:
While the specs and details on the Treo 800w have been pretty well known for awhile now, turns out that there were a few wrong bits and a few bits that needed confirmation. Here's the new skinny:
- Threaded SMS (looks to be the Palm type, not Microsoft's)
- WM 6.1
- Autonomous GPS
- KB is larger than the Centro, slightly smaller than the 750/755
- KB keys still light up
- It's very fast with no lag
- Official color: Charcoal Black (noyce!)
Mmmm, Charcoal Black! Now that's the one I'd love to get! Interesting that the keyboard will be slightly smaller than that of the 750 but larger than the Centro's keyboard. That sounds great to me. I've never had any problem typing on my Centro's keyboard.
