Voicemail

Michael: While SMS was a joke, Voicemail on the Treo 300 is perfect. The instant that a new voicemail arrives, a message pops up on the Treos screen asking if you want to listen to it. If you say no, you can always just tap on the Voicemail indicator in the phone program. If the sender has their number unblocked Voicemail stores it, and with one button press you can call back the sender after listening to the message. As Dieter said to me when he first saw voicemail on the Treo 300, cool.

Dieter: Cool, indeed. I wish that T-Mobile worked this well. The SMS voicemail alert just doesnt cut it (Editors Note: Most T-Mobile areas use a Voice Mail indicator rather than SMS Alert). Sprint and Handspring may have dropped the SMS ball, but Sprint has always done Voicemail right, and the Treo 300 is no exception.
