You can use the VKB (Virtual PC Keyboard) with both your laptop and PC or with a compatible mobile device, Smartphone and PDA. The I-Tech VKB reacts exactly like a real keyboard.
Direction technology based on optical recognition enables the user to tap the images of the keys, complete with realistic tapping sounds(!), which feeds into the compatible PDA, Smartphone, laptop or PC.

You'll be cool; but not productive |
I have used this keyboard on and (mostly) off for several months. I don't recommend it. It simply cannot be used on airplanes or trains because the surface on which the keyboard is projected must remain still. And, you can't use it if the ambient lighting is too bright. Another really big problem is that I have never been able to get it to work with any third party software on my Treo 650, such as Docs to Go. One can work around this by using the Treo built in memo program, but then one can't format and do anything but the simplest text. Support is non-existant. I wrote many e-mails to I-Tech about the inability to use the keyboard with third party Treo software and never got any reply beyond "try the latest driver" (which I had). Only buy this keyboard if your main goal is to look cool. You'll do that; but you won't be very productive.
